American Billiard Radio Interview: All Things Linares Pro Pool with Mike Howerton

A couple weeks ago I had the honor of getting to share a bit of my vision for Linares Pro Pool with one of the leaders in the Pool and Billiards Industry, Mike Howerton. Mike Howerton has had a long and illustrious career in pool promoting and showcasing the sport to large audiences most notably through his site AZ Billiards. AZ is a must have resource for news and updates in the pool world and Mike has done the pool community a great service by creating a forum in which we all can connect to for the latest happenings in pool. His efforts have expanded now with American Billiard Radio. ABR gives players and industry professionals a chance to get more in depth with their projects, performances and updates via a radio based podcast. The podcast airs every Thursday evening with new shows happening weekly. Mike was gracious enough to invite me to his show in order to discuss a few important topics and get in depth about the structure and ideas I have with Linares Pro Pool. I really enjoyed my time speaking with Mike as we got to the core philosophically about a lot of topics. Everything from physical fitness, the Player / Sponsorship relationship, adding value to the industry, how juniors and young players can begin to create a brand for themselves and my own personal goals in the short term and long term.
